How to register
STEP 1:
DETERMINE THE AGE GROUP FOR YOUR CHILD
Players MUST register for the tryout session based on their designated age stated in the chart below.
STEP 2:
Complete the waiver
If you have not signed a waiver FOR YOUR CHILD at Kavod, you will need to click the link below and sign one for them.
If your child has attended Kavod, they should have a waiver on file and you can skip this step and move on to the tryout fee.

pay the tryout fee
Once we have a waiver for your child, please pay the registration fee. The Tryout Registration fee is a one time payment of $50. This is non-refundable.

TRYOUT PROCEDURES
During our tryout process, all athletes will undergo evaluations where they are individually rated on their skill level, overall performance in each position, game knowledge, court awareness, and communication during game play. Creating game-like situations is a priority along with individualized skill drills. Our team of evaluators will also be rating players based on attitude, interactions with other players, and effort. We know that mistakes happen! Don't dwell on mistakes, we are more interested in how you respond to a mistake. Just play hard and have fun. Team selections will be based on a panel of evaluators/coaches, and players will be placed accordingly based off of their performance at tryouts and a collective decision from our evaluators.
Parents may come watch tryouts. We ask that you refrain from yelling or coaching. We ask this to limit distractions for athletes and coaches so everyone can give their best effort.
At the conclusion of all tryouts, team selections will be made and parents/players will be notified no later than a week. Please be patient during this process. We try to get team placements offered as soon as we can, but sometimes this can take awhile!
Once the player has given a verbal acceptance, they will be sent an acceptance agreement. When that player has signed the acceptance agreement and paid the team’s non-refundable initial installment, the player will be bound to Kavod Volleyball Club for the 2025-26 season. This installment acts as the athlete’s commitment to join and is the first payment to KVC.
